Help Us Stop Counterfeits
It is estimated that counterfeit merchandise costs businesses hundreds of billions of dollars annually and is directly responsible for the loss of millions of jobs worldwide. Counterfeiters do not pay taxes meaning less money for your city's schools, hospitals, parks, highways, etc. Counterfeiters do not pay their employees fair wages or benefits, have poor working conditions, and often forced child labor. The profits from counterfeiting have been linked to funding organized crime, drug trafficking and terrorist activities.
Motora Gear has developed an online Counterfeit Reporting Form (CRF) to make it easier for concerned consumers to notify us of possible violation of trade laws, such as intellectual property rights infringement on our products.
Your report will remain anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself; however, please note that failure to do so may limit or otherwise compromise Motora's efforts to conduct an investigation based on your information. If you agree to be contacted with follow-up questions, if necessary, please enter your contact information on our counterfeit reporting form.
Knowing whether or not a product is counterfeit sometimes takes an expert, but as a rule-of-thumb for Motora products you purchase, use the following three pointers:
(1) Only buy from legitimate stores or dealers.
(2) Register your product as soon as you purchase it or receive it as a gift and verify where it was purchased.
(3) Look for the Counterfeit Warning Label / Tag on all our products. Counterfeiters do not want you to see this information.
If you suspect or have knowledge of a violation, please fill out the short CRF form below to explain the violation:
